Rajendra P. Shah – Founder
Rajendra P. Shah is the Founder of the firm and brings over 20 years of senior corporate experience, together with 30 years of professional practice in corporate finance, corporate law, accountancy, and foreign exchange management.
His professional expertise spans a wide range of complex transactions, including collaboration agreements, foreign equity participation, venture capital engagements, cross-border acquisitions, mergers and demergers, and strategic project execution across diverse sectors.
Mr. Shah has advised clients on critical assignments such as debt syndication, MIS development, and treasury operations. He has also led the commercial and financial management functions for one of the world’s wealthiest sporting organizations.
His deep technical knowledge, combined with strong and long-standing client relationships, has been instrumental in building the firm’s foundation. With extensive experience across varied industries and transaction types, Mr. Shah continues to provide practical, strategic, and value-driven advisory solutions to clients.
Ajay Kirtane – Founder
Ajay Kirtane, ICWA, has over 7 years of corporate experience and more than 30 years of professional practice in costing, accountancy, and corporate finance.
He has advised clients on a wide spectrum of corporate finance engagements, including the establishment of robust costing and accounting systems and the development of comprehensive MIS frameworks.
His experience also extends to advising on cross-border transactions and structuring deals across the automobile and real estate sectors. Mr. Kirtane has been closely involved in managing large-scale project executions and has successfully assisted in securing real estate funding through diverse structures, including equity, debt, and REITs.
Rakhi Shah
Rakhi is an MBA in Finance, CFA, and an IBBI-registered Securities Valuer with over 15 years of experience in equity valuation, corporate finance, and financial modelling.
She has advised on equity and debt transactions across the manufacturing, contracting, and real estate sectors. Prior to joining Shah & Kirtane, she worked with leading organizations including CLSA, Abu Dhabi Investment Company, and Lucent Technologies, and has also been associated with academic institutions as a faculty member for financial modelling and corporate finance.
Akshay Shah
Akshay is an MBA in Finance with over 20 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on cross-border acquisitions, asset financing, compliance systems, and working capital solutions.
He has advised on structured debt transactions across manufacturing, contracting, trading, and specialized sectors including vessel financing, HAM water projects, data centres, and logistics assets. His expertise in transaction structuring, combined with a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks, significantly strengthens our advisory capabilities.

Apurva is an accomplished Company Secretary with 8 years of experience in finance and regulatory compliance.
She manages compliance related to loan facilities, RBI regulations, and secretarial requirements while drafting legal agreements and coordinating with banks and clients. Her structured approach ensures operational continuity and smooth execution across financing engagements.
Neha Ranade
Neha is a Chartered Accountant with 8 years of specialization in working capital syndication.
